The Master Bathroom is Finished!!!

Luxurious Master Bathroom Makeover - Check out the before and afters!

It was three years ago when I first walked into our future master bathroom. I was met with harsh lighting and Roman/institutional/prison-esque column wallpaper, but I was also met with the three-headed spa shower of my dreams! I couldn’t wait to turn this unique house into our home, and I pushed the wall treatment out of my mind…until now.

With my Beloved away on deployment, I figured that this was the perfect time to tackle a few projects around the house! I shared here how removing the wallpaper was actually helping me to take better care of myself, believe it or not! It took me about three weeks of working on/off during this project by myself, and I couldn’t be happier. Fair warning – I am not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination,  but I’m thrilled to finally share with you my labor of love!

I found several bargain treasures, but I also enjoyed shopping for accessories in our own home!

We still have plans to improve the lighting in the room, (along with a bit of drywall repair saved for my hubby), but that can wait. I am LOVING the peaceful and updated feel in our new-to-us bathroom, and I can’t wait to share it with my Beloved when he comes home!

Thank you so much for coming with me on this journey! Your suggestions, tips, and encouragement have meant the world to me!

This project really has been a labor of love. The fulfillment and happiness I receive from shaping this house into our home feels as though I am somehow paying tribute to my Beloved and our family by keeping productively busy while he is away. Blending our styles and making this house into our nest, one room (and bargain treasure) at a time… there really is no place like home!
