Happy Wednesday to y’all! How is your week so far? My week is speeding by – I can’t believe that it’s Wednesday already!
Today I am über excited to link up for the first time with my friend Sarah from Beauty School Dropout and her lovely photo project series One Community. I love “meeting” new blogging friends – what a fabulous way to build community here in the big blogging world!
Early morning alone time – the calm before the three boyish tornados wake up and join me for the day. I love seeing their bedheads walk up the stairs for hugs and breakfast, but this quiet time really helps to set the tone for my day.
This is one of the biggest reasons that we ended up buying this house – the shower! Ta-da! It’s positively heavenly. This is going to sound horrible, but I hate to bathe. It will also make you sound just like Celine Dion if you feel so inclined to belt out a little ditty. Love!
Probably my favorite green clothing, this jacket was another bargain find!
You know those friends that you don’t see very often, but when you do – it’s like no time has passed? I am lucky enough to have several of those friends! Amber, Joanne, Amy, and I met when we lived in a Russian orphanage 15 years ago. Even though we live in different parts of the country, I still count them as some of my life’s greatest gifts.
And new friends! Last night there were eleven homeschool moms from our learning co-op in my house for a monthly planning meeting. I served roasted pineapple with vanilla ice cream, and the tea kettle stayed busy filling everyone’s mugs. I enjoy opening up our house, and I have the dishes to prove it! I woke up to a few of the remnants from last night…
That’s just a little snapshot into my week! I hope that y’all have a wonderful, wonderful day…and don’t forget to take a few minutes for yourself!
One of the goals that I focused on last week was to clean out my closet. I love how much...
